As it forms part of the space used by the Tannery Bar, we are unable to give you private hire of the conservatory when the Tannery Bar is open to the general public.
The Committee has a policy of not accepting 18th birthday parties. We may accept 21st parties in certain situations, and in all instances you will need written permission from the Committee.
The bar stops serving at 11pm, drinking up by 11:30pm and you must vacate the premises by midnight. If a bar extension has been granted and paid for then the bar will stop serving at midnight, drinking up by 12.30am and you must vacate by 1am. Bar extensions will only be granted on a Friday or Saturday night.
You will be charged the prevailing standard rates for that day with the wedding rate only being charged on the day of the wedding.
For an additional fee, you can book our cleaner to put away the tables and chairs and to clean the floor of the rooms used. If not booked, the Hirers are responsible for putting away all equipment and furniture used and for cleaning so that all rooms hired are left in a clean and tidy fashion. In all cases, the hirer remains responsible for cleaning the kitchen (if used) and for the remove any food or other items from the hall. Please dispose of your rubbish in the bins outside provided by the hall. You will find brushes and a dustpan in the storage area. If you are using the kitchen, please bring suitable cloths and tea towels for cleaning. Please ensure that you have allocated time for setting up and cleaning up when making your booking. There may be occasions when Special Conditions for cleaning are also applicable (e.g. COVID-19).
Use our online availability calendars to do a preliminary check for availability when you want it. Following this complete the booking enquiry form or contact the office during opening hours. Upon confirmation you will receive a Hire Agreement which must be signed and returned with your deposit or full fee if within 30 days of booking.
