Charity Structure

Claverham Village Hall is registered as a CIO under the charity number 1155267.  Historically the Chairty was unincorporated but the decision was taken to convert to a CIO.  Details about conversion can be found here.

The charity is run by an elected Committee, also the Trustees, of between 8 and 12 people.  At each AGM three of the Committee must step down by rotation and nominations must be sought to fill those positions (although the members stepping down can stand for re-election).

In order to be able to vote at General Meetings you must be included on our voting register.  The voting register has been transferred from the old unincorporated charity for the first AGM.  However, in order to fulfil our new constituion we need to hold additional details about members of the voting register and as such we require all existing members wishing to remain on the voting register to update their details by 30 June 2014.  You can either pick up a form at the Hall to upder your details or click here.  For new registrations you must complete a form at the hall.

A full copy of our constitution can be found here.
