| Built in1999 following years of fundraising by Claverham's residents, and with the help of grants from The Lottery Commission, YANSEC (An environmental fund for community projects) and Yatton Parish Council, Claverham Village Hall sits at the hub of the local community. | |
| Owned and operated by the residents, the hall is home to a host of activities and events from Clavertots (parent and toddler group) to Line Dancing and Tae Kwon Do to Bingo. With a capacity of 150 the main hall has proved a great venue for wedding receptions, birthday parties and businessfunctions. | |
Because of Claverham's Quaker history, The Tannery is the village's first and only pub. Run on a voluntary basis by residents (more volunteers always welcome), it is one of the main sources of funding for the Village Hall. If you're new to the village why not come in and say hello. |

As a charity, the hall is run and managed by the Executive Committee, members of which are also the Trustees of the Hall. The committee is agreed each year at the Annual General Meeting where ‘members’ vote for the person they feel is most likely to be able to represent their views and have a valuable contribution to make to decisions about the future of our Village Hall. Claverham Village Hall does not have ‘members’ as such: we have a Register of people eligible to vote and sit on the committee. If you wish to be registered to vote or are interested in becoming a committee member at the next Annual General Meeting, for a printable registration form select either Word or PDF format, complete it and place it in either the post box at the Hall or the special box in the bar, by the 27 March 2007 |
